Gaia

Gaia is a Japanese learning game that mainly focuses on memorizing the 3 different Japanese alphabet systems. 

Game Summary

Gameplay

The core-loop of the game consists of defending against waves of enemies that are trying to destroy your island. After you reach a new level you get to unlock more characters from the alphabet.

Future Gameplay

Once the player reaches a certain size they can encounter a “Lesson Island” featuring unique minigames. Occasionally the player may encounter a void raid in which Boss monsters spawn along with lots of little minions. The boss will feature unique ways to take them down, from qte’s, rhythm games, to grammar questions practiced in a lesson island. Bosses will serve as review/unit tests.
